Does Walkable sell my data?
Short answer
No. Walkable does not sell, rent or share your personal data, and there is no advertising network in the app. It is not only a policy: your walks are on your phone, so there is no database of walking histories that could be sold.

Why the structure matters more than the promise
Plenty of apps promise not to sell your data while holding it all on a server. The promise then depends on the company's continued good behaviour, and on who owns it next.
Walkable does not hold your walks at all. A promise backed by an absence of data is one that survives a change of ownership, a bad quarter or a subpoena.
