How do habits and streaks work?
Short answer
Walkable notices the rhythm of your walking and keeps a streak of the days you walked. It is meant as gentle encouragement, not a scoreboard — breaking a streak loses nothing except the number, and nobody else ever sees it.

What it is for
Walking regularly is the thing that helps, and a small nudge is often enough. Walkable learns roughly when you tend to walk and can remind you around then, rather than at an arbitrary hour.
What it deliberately is not
There is no leaderboard, no comparison, no public profile and no penalty. Nothing about your streak leaves your phone.
If it stops being encouraging, reminders can be turned off entirely and the app works exactly as before.
