Backup and recovery
How do I export and import my data?
Short answer
There is no export-to-a-file option in the published version of Walkable yet. An encrypted export is built and being tested, but it is not switched on in the app you can install today, and we will not describe it as available until it is.

What exists today
The Google Drive backup, which can still be restored from if you already have one, and which is not currently accepting new uploads.
What is being built
An encrypted export: a single file you hold, unlocked by a recovery phrase only you know, which no server can read. It exists in the codebase and is being tested, and it is deliberately switched off in public builds until that testing is finished.
We are mentioning it here only to answer the question honestly, not to suggest you can use it. When it ships, this guide will change and the change will be dated.
