Planning and recording walks

Can I walk a route someone sent me?

Short answer

Yes. If someone shares a Walkable route with you, opening their link or scanning their code loads the route into your app, ready to start. It arrives as a route to walk — nothing about the person who sent it comes with it.

What arrives

The shape of the walk: the path, its distance and the turns along it. That is all a shared route contains.

What does not

Nothing about the sender. No history, no statistics, no identity, no photos. A shared route is a shape, not a person's walking life.
