Does Walkable know my name or email?
Short answer
No. Walkable has no account system, so it never asks for and never stores a name, email address or phone number. A display name you set is kept on your phone, for your own screen — the one place it travels is a conversation with your walking companion, which is told what to call you so it can use your name.

The exceptions, and they are yours to make
If you connect Google Drive for backup, Google knows who you are — that is your Google account, and Walkable only receives permission to write to a private folder of your Drive.
If you write to Walkable Support and include an email address so we can reply, we then have that address because you sent it. Nothing takes it automatically.
If you talk to your walking companion, the name it calls you by goes with the message, because a companion that cannot use your name is not much of one. Nothing is stored at the other end: the conversation is kept on your phone, and switching the conversation off in Settings stops it travelling at all.
